How Glyphscape handles purchases, licenses, and your images.

Your Images Stay On Your Mac

The app renders wallpapers locally. Importing an image makes an app-owned copy on your Mac; it does not upload that image to the website or license service. You can remove that copy from My Images in the app; the copy moves to the Trash and your original file stays untouched.

Purchases And License Emails

Stripe handles payment details. For purchases sold through Link, Stripe is the merchant of record and Link sends your payment receipt. The Glyphscape license service stores the purchase email, payment references, and license record needed to deliver and recover your key. Resend delivers Glyphscape license-key and recovery emails in live mode. Test mode sends no external email.

Activating A Mac

Activation sends your license key, this Mac’s name, and a random installation ID to the license service. Later checks use your key and activation ID. The key is stored in the Mac’s Keychain. Your Apple account and hardware serial number are not required.

This Website

Checkout uses an essential, secure-in-production cookie to let the browser that started a purchase retrieve its license key. It expires after 24 hours. The website uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits and a few actions, such as downloads and checkout starts. It sets no cookies and doesn’t identify you or follow you across other sites. There are no advertising trackers. When you arrive through a tagged link, such as one from a creator or an ad, the tag is saved with your order to show which links lead to purchases. Hosting and payment services may process ordinary request information to operate their services.

Updates

When you check for an app update, Sparkle requests the release feed and, if you choose to install, downloads the signed app update. Update checks and installation preferences are controlled in the app.

Purchase Help

For purchases sold through Link, use your Link receipt for payment questions or refund requests. Glyphscape provides product support, and you can recover your license key using your purchase email.
